Privacy policy

This policy applies to Chain, a mobile game.

On your device

Chain has no accounts. Your best score and best round, sound and haptic settings, selected theme, temporary rewarded theme access, and a cached copy of your permanent theme ownership are stored on your device.

Purchase records are held by Apple or Google and by RevenueCat, which supports restoring purchases after a reinstall or on a new device.

Ads

Chain uses Google AdMob for optional rewarded ads that grant temporary theme access. We request non-personalized ads and use Google’s consent tools. AdMob may still process device identifiers, IP address, and ad interactions for delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. See Google’s privacy policyand how Google uses information from apps.

Where available, you can change your consent choices under Privacy choices in the game’s Settings.

Purchases

Chain uses Apple or Google and RevenueCat for optional, one-time theme purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app ID, your IP address, and purchase and entitlement data to unlock and restore purchases and produce purchase reports. Crash reports

Chain uses Sentry to collect crash and error data, including device model, OS version, app version, and diagnostic details. Sentry’s default collection of personal information is disabled. SeeSentry’s privacy policy.

Legal bases (EU/UK)

Contract (unlocking and restoring purchases you make), legitimate interests (crash reports, purchase reports, and support), and consent (advertising, through Google’s consent tools).

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or object to processing, by emailing us. Because there are no accounts, we may need a purchase detail to find your records. Clearing Chain’s data deletes local data only. Records held by Apple or Google follow their own policies. We can request deletion of records held by RevenueCat. Some records may be kept where needed for law or disputes.

Children

Chain is not directed at children under 13.

Transfers

Providers may process data outside the EEA under adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes

We’ll update the effective date when this policy changes.
